PRD websiteThis website was created and is maintained by the Website Committee of the Public Relations Division and is hosted on the AEJMC server. The website’s purpose is defined by the goal and objectives below that were determined in the fall of 2014.

Website goal: To provide an accessible online resource of current and historical information relevant for AEJMC PRD members.

Welcome to the AEJMC Public Relations Division website. We are the largest organization of public relations educators in the world with more than 400 members representing institutions of higher learning in the United States and around the world. On this website you will find information about the division’s publications and initiatives.

Our annual conference sessions. The PRD sponsors many events and sessions at the annual AEJMC conference in August including the Bill Adams/Edelman Luncheon and the annual off-site visit to a strategic communication company or organization.

Our journals. Our division manages the publication of two journals, the Journal of Public Relations Research and the Journal of Public Relations Education.

Our communication. The division has an active social media network, and it issues quarterly newsletters to its members.

Our awards. The PRD offers three awards for its members, the Inez Kaiser Award for students of color, the Roschwalb Grant for student international communication research, and the Doug Newsom Award for research on global ethics and diversity.

Our committees. You will can find information about the work of our leadership and the committees that keep our division running smoothly.

Our history. The division is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we have collected videos from past heads sharing their memories of years past.
